How did Lindberg start?
Founder Michael Lindberg has his son to thank for his business idea. It was in the early 1990s that he had warm comfortable moose skin boots and mittens made to warm his son's frozen feet and hands.
The products turned out to be so good that demand increased and from this the clothing brand Lindberg was born.
The company Michael Lindberg AB was registered in 1987 (then as a sales company for, among other things, the brand Ellte caps) and in 1994 Michael started selling his own products under the brand Lindberg, which was then "trademarked" in 1996.
Since then, it has only continued with functional clothing and accessories with consideration for everyone who enjoys staying in nature and the Swedish climate.
Where are we located?
Lindberg is located in Edsbyn. A village in the deep forests of scenic Hälsingland with old traditions of an active business life.
There are several leading industries here, of which window and furniture manufacturing are perhaps the best known.
Edsbyn was previously also known for its production of skis and could once be titled as the world's largest ski manufacturer.
From this environment, we develop clothes for an active outdoor life mainly for children and juniors but also for adults.
Our focus
With the saying "there is no bad weather..." we at Lindberg work hard to develop products that suit our Swedish climate.
With the "layer upon layer" principle and clothes that suit all weathers, we at Lindberg have built up a wide range for those of you who like to spend time outside.
With us you will find everything from sun protection and swimwear in the summer to warm functional garments in the coldest winter. This is to give you as pleasant an outdoor stay as possible.
We place great emphasis on protecting the environment and our work to ensure that manufacturing takes place with as little environmental impact as possible is under constant development.
